We’ll be at Herne Hill station next Thursday 30 May from 10am-12noon, in the Station Hall (at 1st floor level).

£5 donation per child, and neurotypical friends/siblings would be very welcome too.

Hope to see you there.

Engine Shed at “Me Too & Co” activity session @ Crossway (Twickenham)
Jun 4 @ 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm

We’re taking some of our trains to Me too & Co’s activity session in Twickenham. We’ll be providing trains to play with both on the floor and on table tops, so that the activity is accessible to wheelchair users.

Tickets are free but *must* be booked in advance via the Me too & Co website as places are limited:

Engine Shed – Streatham: June open day @ SYCT Streatham Youth Centre
Jun 11 @ 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

The Engine Shed is a special interest group for children and young people with autism who like trains. They can play, talk and enjoy their interest in a welcoming, safe and relaxing environment – and their parents can talk in a supportive atmosphere.

Opening times:

  • 2pm – 4pm: Anyone can come (this session is intended for younger children)
  • 4pm – 5pm: Extra quieter session for teenagers and young adults

We’ve got loads of Hornby, Brio, Ertl and Tomy layouts to play with. There’s also a quiet corner with books and puzzles.

We’re at the Streatham Youth Centre off Conyers Road, SW16. It’s a short walk from Streatham and Streatham Common railway stations, or lots of bus routes on the Streatham High Road. There is parking available in local streets.

We ask for a £5 donation on the door to cover the cost of venue hire and wear and tear on the trains.

Engine Shed presentation at Autism Show, London @ ExCel London | England | United Kingdom
The Engine Shed has been invited to present at the Autism Show in London! Exciting, or what?!
We’ll be talking all about the importance of special interests for autistic people and how these can be used for education, training and employment. We’ll be mentioning Transport Sparks and other special interest groups.
If you’re coming to the show on the Friday, it would be great to see you.
